J Dilla Project Tries to Fight Lupus

      It’s been about a year and a half since producer extraordinaire J Dilla passed away from Lupus, and now the J Dilla Project is putting up its dukes to fight disease. On October 13, the J Dilla Project and J Dilla fans everywhere will join the 2007 New York City Walk With Us to Cure Lupus Walkathon as a team.

      “So here’s the deal. A lot of y’all talk the talk, now it’s time to walk the walk,” the J Dilla Project in a press release. “We need your help to fight this sh** that took my man out the game. NYC stand up! Spread the word to any and everybody that you think will be down for the cause. Thank you.”

      The J Dilla Project is also encouraging the fans who can’t attend to the New York event to look up event in their local cities.
