DMX: Rapper And Wrestler?

Everyone’s favorite crazy rapper and now apparently wrestler, DMX, will reportedly be stepping into the ring against musician Eric Martinez, who is the CEO of Power Moves Entertainment, a record label, management firm, and event promotion company based out of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Yes, I said STEPPING IN the ring.

According to this guy Martinez’ bio, he’s a member of DMX’s management team and will be wrestling the rapper during the event, which is being named “Alabama Pride.”  The guy who actually agrees to wrestle DMX might be crazier than DMX himself.

The fight is taking place this December, on the under card of the Tank Abbott/Butterbean fight. Thunder Promotions has announced that DMX will square off against Martinez at the Birmingham Jefferson Convention Complex in Birmingham, Alabama.

Alabama Pride takes place December 12 at 8:00 PM in Birmingham, Alabama. I hope it’s televised, only then will I believe this for myself.

It’s sad thing when a once successful (but still crazy) rapper can only lock down a wrestling gig, fighting some guy on his management team, in Alabama…  Poor DMX
