Kanye’s Working On A New Album
Kanye has been taken some much needed time from the spotlight after all the controversy he was involved in this year. Just because we don’t see or hear him doesn’t mean he’s gone, word is Kanye is back in the studio working on his fifth studio album.
Kanye’s collaborator A-Trak says that although he’s staying away from the limelight, he’s still working. A-Trak says:
“Kanye’s taking a bit of time away from the limelight. But he keeps telling me all these ideas he has for songs and fashion bits. It’s really amazing just how many ideas he has.”
One collaboration expected for the album is Soulja Boy, who has been working in the studio with Kanye. Soulja Boy claims that the track with him, Drake and Kanye is “gonna be stuuupid“. He also describes his experience working with Kanye saying :
“I produced some tracks for him. We got in the studio like two weeks ago and just really just I think Kanye … I work with a lot of artists but out of all of the artists I worked with I think that’s the only artist that try to push my talent to the next level, like it wasn’t easy working with him. Other artists, they might want a beat or want me to write a song or hook for them, or just do a verse for them, Kanye came in like, this is the sample, I want you to use this sample and I want you to blah blah blah. You just gotta keep redoing it until it’s perfect, but I know that 100 percent, whoever spit on them, even if Kanye decide to give ‘em to somebody else, whoever spit on them they guaranteed smash chart toppers.”
Kanye is supposedly going back to his rapping roots and is trying to create another classic Hip Hop album instead of an autotuned R&B album. Hopefully it will measure up to College Dropout and Late Registration or be even better than both.
Chris Brown Tries To Up One On Rihanna
Chris Brown is trying to out interview Rihanna with his new MTV News Special with MTV’s Sway. Ever since the two’s altercation this past February, Chris has been on damage control, as he tries to resurrect his career.
With his new album “Graffiti” on the way and Rihanna’s interview with Diane Sawyer coming, he decided to sit down with Sway to once again explain how he’s sorry and basically convince his 90% female fan base to cop that new album.
Chris says:
“I’m confused right now as far as the public perception [of me], like, I think with my fans, they still love me, they support me, definitely. You have those people who will support you. So it’s kinda like 50/50 for me. I got the people that will come out and support and then the people that don’t wanna see me do anything. They basically want me in jail.”
Coincidentally both Rihanna and Chris’ interviews air on the same day Friday, November 6th. Chris’ interview, “Chris Brown: The Interview”, airs on MTV at 6PM Eastern, while Rihanna’s is on ABC’s 20/20 at 10PM Eastern.
If I was Chris Brown I would have probably waited on another interview till after Rihanna did hers, but if I Chris Brown I probably wouldn’t have beat up Rihanna.
