Lupe Fiasco Cancels New Mixtape

Lupe Fiasco announced via Twitter that he is not dropping his next mixtape, Friend of the People. The mixtape which was set for a Christmas release is being put aside because he training to climb Mount Kilimanjaro.

Lupe and other celebrities are treking to Tanzania in hopes to bring awareness to the global water crisis.

He also addressed fans on his blog saying that if they are tired of material delays then they should take it up with his label.

I’m sure the label could be at fault somewhere in there, but who’s climbing mountains instead of dropping mixtapes.
