Beyonce’s Parents Getting Divorced

Tina and Mathew Knowles are calling it quits. The parents of Beyonce and Solange Knowles have announced that they are filing for divorce after their 29 year marriage.

Sources are reporting that Tina wanted the divorce and papers were filed last month in a Houston court. She did not cite any official reason for ending the marriage.  It might have something to do with the paternity suit filed by Alexsandra Wright in L.A. County Superior Court in regards to Mathew Knowles fathering a child wit her.  That’s never a good look when you’re married.

Both Tina and Mathew issued a statement saying:

“The decision to end our marriage is an amicable one. We remain friends, parents, and business partners. If anyone is expecting an ugly messy fight, they will be sadly disappointed. We ask for your respect of our privacy as we handle this matter.”
