Rick Ross hit a local Detroit radio station to promote his upcoming album, Teflon Don, and the subject of his relationship with infamous crime syndicate The Black Mafia Family (BMF) was broached.

They was in Miami for a long time man,” Rick Ross explained. “While we on that subject I gotta salute the big homie J-Bo, you know what I’m saying. I had the opportunity to meet you once or twice…in Miami, but my homie was actually J-Bo who I actually got to kick it with.

On his “B.M.F. (Blowin Money Fast)” record

They influenced the streets on a whole ‘nother level,” said Ross. “And that was one of the reasons the record was even made because when you touch generations the way he did on many different levels I feel like it was only right to pay homage to the O.G.

Wait so it this supposed to make us forget you used to be a CO, and aren’t really gangster at all?  Because it doesn’t.  I mean I think Ricky Rosé is one of the best rappers out right now.  He just has no real street credibility.  Speaking of Ross check out these two album cuts that hit the interwebs.  I actually was a little unimpressed with these two.  Teflon Don in stores next Tuesday.
