Some rappers say I’m paranoid and maybe I falter/but men lie, women lie, even numbers get altered

When I first heard Novel, I never imagined that he could flow like this.  Every time I hear the LA singer/songwriter/emcee/producer, he takes different approach, sometimes going wayward of poppy hooks for the ladies and at other times thugging it out with the likes of Joell Ortiz.  Regardless, Novel comes correct in nearly every endeavor, bringing nothing but quality to the table.  Novel takes a page out of Jay-Z’s book, paying homage to “Dear Summer” with his opening lines, while reminiscing on soul singers and the so-far-gone former First Lady of Hip Hop, Lauryn HillThe Jazze Pha appearance is nothing short of random, but enjoyable nonetheless.  Novel’s Legato Blues Summer drops later tonight.
