SamThis is the corniest excuse for poor record sales I have ever scene. Dude makes a video blaming his poor record sales on bad weather in one city. Granted he is from Dallas which was having some problems with Tornadoes two weeks ago, but I doubt that significantly affected album sales. Plus he sold 5,501 first week when the weather supposedly prevented him from doing numbers and 2,558 the second week when the weather was fine. So his point is pretty much void. #fail.
Although the major fail is that he sees selling almost 8K in two weeks as a failure. For an independent artist in 2010 that really isn’t too bad. Just don’t go out making videos blaming the weather for your lack of soundscan. That is just corny. If you want to make Dorrough feel better about himself you can cop Get Big on itunes.
