After hearing Justin Bieber’s rap debut over his “Speaking In Tungs” instrumental yesterday, Vado was quick to praise the Canadian pop star. In an attempt to make a crossover single, Vado told NY Daily News, “we need to keep his verse for the remix! We might finish the remix this weekend.” While I think this is a good move for Vado’s career, I’m shocked that he said, “[Bieber] sounded like [Notorious] B.I.G.” Really, Vado; Justin Bieber sounds like THIS? I don’t think so.
.
The sixteen year-old pop sensation has slowly gained acceptance from those in the mainstream Hip Hop community for his Ludacris-assisted “Baby” Remix and his hook on the Kanye West/Raekwon callabo “Runaway Love,” in which he sings over the instrumental from “Wu-Tang Clan Ain’t Nuthin Ta F*ck With.” Yesterday, he revealed a video of him inside a studio recording a verse in a rhyming alter-ego dubbed, “Shawty Mane.” I think Bieber should stay in his own lane and stick with singing so he doesn’t fizzle out like Aaron Carter.
little do he kno he stole dat verse from tory lanez off of beamer, benz, or Bentley freestyle
