Who knew Joe Budden’s lack of child support payments was front page news?  Despite a Jersey City murder suspect turning themselves in to the police this morning, The Jersey Journal published a headline story entitled, “Where I$ Joe” in which they lambast the Slaughterhouse member as a “deadbeat dad.”  According to the report, the Hudson County Sheriff’s office issued a warrant for the 30 year-old rapper after he no-showed a court appearance and failed to pay $12,983 in child support.  This comes after Budden was arrested last year for failing to pay child support.

.

Joey refused to remain silent on these allegations and refuted the authenticity of the Journal’s claim that he could not be reached as of press time, tweeting, “the headline says ‘WHERE’S JOE’…N*gga  I’m on Twitter w everybody else!  Great job genius…”   Budden’s friend and frequent collaborator Fabolous also issued a statement regarding the negligent payments, joking, that if Budden were to “trade me Ahmad Bradshaw in fantasy football, I’ll pay 1 month of child support.”  Joe found this amusing and wrote back that the only way they could work out a deal is if Fab were to “pay 2 months & send Reggie Wayne over.”  Other ‘news’ sources are claiming that fellow Slaughterhouse member, Joell Ortiz, took shots at Budden via Twitter, but Ortiz dismissed any rumors issuing the statement, “if I got a n*gga’s number and I got something to say, I will call them DIRECT. No need for an audience.”  It looks like that “role model” comment is not addressed towards Budden and is actually a joke about his new diet.  Oh well, Budden better find his baby mama’s bank account balance and Pump It Up before the day’s over.
