Curtis Jackson is once again an independent artist.

After years of label drama over the release of his fifth solo LP, 50 Cent has officially split ways with Interscope Records. 50 will be bringing his G-Unit brand to Caroline Records, the independent division of Capitol Records.

Through Caroline/Capital/UMG, 50 has announced he will be dropping his much-delayed Animal Ambition on June 3, with pre-orders set for March 18.
