Wow. Pretty impressive Fif. Although the money is to be spread out over 10 films. Plus some red flags may have to raised in that some health care/real estate characters are coming up with a lot of the equity for the deal. It’s always a little shady when people outside of the movie business try to use their money to force themselves into the game. It’s also comforting to know that the reason health care is so expensive in this country is because the people that control these companies are investing all their money into movie deals with 50 Cent. SMH. According to ThisIs50:
- 50 Cent has just completed a deal for his film company that will give it $200 million dollars to fund a 10-picture deal.
Cheetah Vision Films, Randall Emmet and George Furla’s Hedge Fund Partners have signed off on a deal that will allow 50 to expand his ever growing film resume.
Healthcare magnate Richard Jackson, real estate developer Gary Sakwa and Daniel Ret will provide the equity remainder of the fund. Grindstone/Lionsgate will distribute the films.
The first movie out of the gate will be ‘Set Up’, an action heist movie that starts shooting next month. Paul Walker is in talks to star alongside 50 in the movie.
Fif recently linked up with Paul of the set of ‘The Fast and Furious 5′. You know business was at the top of the agenda.
