Afeni Shakur Gives Love to Fireman After House Burns

      On Friday, a guest house belonging to Afeni Shakur-Davis, the mother of Tupac Shakur, caught fire and gutted the house. Although there were no injuries, the house, which is on her Lumberton, North Carolina property, was totally destroyed.

      "I would sincerely like to thank the professional & volunteer firefighters and our neighbors who quickly came to our rescue and helped extinguish the fire,” Shakur-Davis said in a statement. “We are truly blessed to have their vigilant and neighborly care. We were fortunate that no one was at the home at the time."

      Shakur-Davis and her family members were safe inside the main house of the property. There’s no word on what started the fire, but investigators are still looking into it.
