Then Kathie Lee and Hoda hit her with the “But we love Lil Mama” talk, to which she replied “That’s nice!”
Keys finally spoke out on how she really felt and said :”We can appreciate her being overwhelmed and inspired but we would’ve preferred she did it from her
She tried to bring the interview back to the importantance of her single with Jay-Z “Empire State Of Mind” , that appears on his new album the Blueprint 3. “Jay-Z and I are both native New Yorkers. It’s kind of a classic New York song almost like new Frank Sinatra, Liza Minelli, I don’t know. Just a beautiful New York record, I love it”, she said.
We all know about the song and think it’s great, but honestly we really just wanted to see her go Serena Williams and curse Lil Mama out.
