.Paak’s first album under Dr. Dre’s Aftermath imprint.

Rightfully so, much excitement has been brewing around Anderson .Paak’s third album release, Oxnard. The successor to his acclaimed 2016 Malibu, Oxnard promises to continue .Paak’s eclectic musical styling through doubling-down on his artistic resolve while supplementing his artistry through collaborating with the Dr. Dre. This will be his first project under Dre’s Aftermath label, an Interscope imprint.

With the single “Tints” featuring Kendrick Lamar already available, released on October 4th, the anticipation for Oxnard has become palpable, and fans are clamoring to get their hands on the next release from the multi-talented California visionary. Thanks to a recent announcement, it doesn’t seem like the wait will have to be suffered for much longer.

In a recent tweet, .Paak declared that Oxnard will be dropping on November 16th. The now pinned tweet to his profile, this reveal was accompanied by the album’s cover art–which consistently deepen Anderson’s already alluring aesthetic–that displays a collage of .Paak portraits wrapped in colorful smoke clouds.

With just less than a month away from Oxnard’s release, fans can breathe a collective sigh of relief knowing that Anderson’s third studio LP is on the horizon. It’s real, and it’s coming on November 16th.
