Well it’s been an interesting day today at the offices of ihiphop.com. You know that plane that crashed into the Hudson river today? I literally watched that shit float down the river from our office. Doesn’t really happen everyday. They shut down pretty much the whole west side highway as far as I could see. I can still hear the sirens right now. The news is saying everyone got out ok which is a pretty good look. Hit me at featuredaudio@ihiphop.com with the new hotness.

-This Jay-Z demo is an interesting listen.

-I still can’t get over what Jim Jones has evolved to. He just does features on these lame ass vocoder Ron Browz type tracks now. I guess I just have to accept that hip-hop is dead in a commercial sense. There is a difference between hip-hop and pop music where people happen to be rapping.

-Don’t think because I usually hate on some of the southern hip-hop that I don’t fuck with Yo Gotti, because I do. Back 2 Basics is on heavy rotation in the ipod. He just makes that North Memphis gangster music that Three 6 Mafia stopped doing in order to make shitty commercial ringtone rap.

-Cory Gunz is a couple songs away from a perspective co-sign.

-This Jo Well & DJ DviousMindz track is easily the best of the day. I have no background info on them unfortunately.

-Joe Budden is absolutely retarded for going at Saigon. Notice how at the beginning of the track Joe plugs the album. Budden is such a hypocrite in the sense that he claims he is above the petty bullshit, but then he goes and does something like this.
