What up? Damn I’ve been a little busy, which is a pretty lame excuse, but my comments are going to be almost as weak as the comments in the comment section. Ideally I would like to create an open discussion on music, but you guys don’t seem too down for that. Just because I work for the site doesn’t mean that my opinion is valid or final. I want to hear other perspectives. That’s why my blogging name is perspective, because that’s what this is, just MY perspective. I approach every day, every person, and every situation as an opportunity to learn something new. Just because you don’t agree with someone doesn’t mean you can’t learn from them. So basically I would like for the comment section to be a platform to exchange ideas. I’m sure if anyone says anything they will just be hatin on one of the artists. Whatever, I would rather have that then nothing going on.

-This Wayne song is absolutley fucking awsome. He’s got some Dedication 2, Drought 3 type rhyme schemes. Check. Grossly innapropriate sexual references. Check. Ingenious song title. Check. It’s songs like this that make me excited to come to work everday, which may not be the best reflection on me, but whatever. The main thing I admire about Weezy is his “I’m going to do and say whatever the fuck I please” attitude.

-I actually like a Yung Berg track. Actually I like a couple Yung Berg tracks, but I don’t really like Yung Berg. He just seems like a poser that in real life is be a big pussy. I have no factual information to back this up, but that’s the vibe I get from him. The Corey Gunz callabo is kind of random, but i’m digging it.

-This Charles Hamilton track is pretty interesting. A lot of my blogging comrades have been talking about how great this song is, but i’m going to have to disagree. The beat is an interesting premise, that is cool to listen to once, but at the end of the day I don’t find it to be a particullarly great track. I’m still un-sure of Hamilton as a whole. Tracks like “BK Girls” and “Jeezy Hamilton” make me want to believe the hype that Charles is the next big thing, but sometimes I just find the dudes flow to be obnoxious. Plus the dude is a little too cocky for me. Biggie Smalls once said to work hard, stay humble, and approach everything like it’s your first project, and I’m going to have to co-sign that philosophy.

-Well there it is. Like I always say be sure to scope all the other tracks in the audio section. If you really feel a track that I put up there but not for download, toss up a request for it in the comments section, and I’ll try and hook you up with a download link. All aspiring rappers can feel free to hit me up with a track or two at featuredaudio@crackspace.net in an mp3 format. If it’s hot I will toss it up in the audio section and possibly give you some Dose love if it’s real sick. Peace.
