It’s Friday.  Can’t be mad at that.  Got some pretty good stuff for you today.  featuredaudio@ihiphop.com.  Mp3′s only.

.

-There is a song with J. Dilla production with verses from Raekwon & Havoc.  If you don’t at least give the song a listen I’m not sure you can constitute yourself as a hip-hop fan.

.

-This Wyclef & Timbaland song is pretty catchy.  Perfect to break out on a Friday.  I actually really like this joint. Wyclef is hit or miss with me, but this is dope.

.

-I need to listen to more Damian Marley.  I’m actually kind of pumped for the album he is supposedly doing with Nas.  Hopefully their styles will blend well together.  They have the potential to make an album that hasn’t been made in hip-hop before..  Either way scope this track Damian did with his brother Julian.

.

-These two Eminem joints are bonuses off of his album Relapse in stores next Tuesday although it doesn’t really sound worth buying.  By the way this picture reminds me of 40 Year Old Virgin.  You know how I know you’re gay?  Because you hold hands with Elton John.

.

-Freeway a.k.a Philly Freezer let loose a joint off of his upcoming album, Philadelphia Freeway 2, which you can stream here.  Some Free tracks are better then others, but I can never be mad at a Freeway joint.  He makes good street rap in a day in age where most street rap is just whack, or completely unbelievable (i.e. Rick Ross).  Whatever happened to the album Free was supposedly doing with Jake One?  That’s an album I want to hear.

.

-If you like this Young Dro song be sure to check out the video here.  I must say that whenever I see Dro his Lo game is super official.

.

-This Cool Kids track is the no DJ version off of their Don Cannon mixtape, Gone Fishin, which you should cop here.

Crazy!! This is the second time I’ve posted a comment on this post man. Sounds like someone’s got a problem with Shady!! You know what, lots of love for putting up that J Dilla track, anything he’s involved in I got to hear, but the production’s cool, but the track aint really dope, feeling the production though. The Eminem tracks are SOOOOOOO Much better than i thought they would be after hearing that lead single, and I’m a HipHop fan who loves skill and songwriting capability, and can’t a reviewer alive tell me those tracks don’t possess that. I’m not feeling how you keeping slating the tracks before listeners get a chance to listen to it…… Hip Hop in a critical state right now. I love how you bring alot of stuff from upcoming MC’s, i think more sites need to do what you do, BUT i noticed, when you say stuff about artists you personally may not be feeling, you kind of try to bring people round to your way of thinking. Alot of MC’s coming out today are not as dope as they should be, and that’s because they’re aspiring to be as good as certain artists who get alot of ratings right now. But to be honest, alot of the artist people are looking at right now aint that dope! Eminem is dope, Ghostface, Redman, Lupe, Jeezy, NAS, Jay Z!! and plenty more. you be rating alot of other dudes who aint half as dope as eminem, yet you deterring people from listening to him by leaving bias and leading comments like you do at the top of this page. I aint dissing you, i just think it’s a shame. Because it does seem like you know genuinely good Hiphop at times, but then, you be talking about some peeps, and i’m feeling that they aint that hard, but you showing them a whole lot of love. Show some equality for skill, is all i’m saying. even if you don’t like an artist, we need to promote skills and good song craft, can’t do that by just giving all these upcoming acts props and they aint even trying to come as hard as they should. For what it’s worth, REAL HIP HOP HEADS, if you look for skill, songwriting ability and all round mic skills, listen to them Eminem cuts, they deserve just as much attention as anything that’s been posted up here. This is a HIP HOP site man, get people listening to all Hip Hop. Not the best Nipsey track I heard, Was feeling your Emillio Rojas joint on the other post, but hey I listen to EVERYONE. Keep It HIP HOP PEOPLE!!

Yo look at my name. This is my perspective. I ain’t god. Everything I say is not to be taken as a rule. It’s my opinion. You got yours and I respect that. Don’t think i’m ignorant to Em’s accomplishments. That’s why I put everyone of his songs in these things. I just think he’s fallen off, but maybe he’s earned that right. You gotta also understand I talk more about up and comers because it’s more likely to be news to you. What I am I going to say about Jay-Z that everyone doesn’t already know?

  • http://www.ihiphop.com/topofthepopular totp

I wasn’t asking you to say anything about Jay Z, as i said i really like/love the fact that you put up the new talent, all i’m saying is, some of your comments deter people from listening to songs that are worthy of listening too. And even though I appreciate that you still put up the eminem joints, which is definitely a fair point on your part, some of the things you say would make some mre influential readers not even listen to it, or listen to it with deaf ears with a pre-determined mind set. If you think the joint’s were weak, then fair enough……..but the joints that you got praise for aren’t even better than the em joints, so i’m feeling it’s more personal than accurate. It;s no big deal though, i’m not coming at you. i’m just saying, no matter how much success you do or DO NOT have, quality is quality, i would never deter people from listening to good Hip Hop or Music in general.

I get what your saying, but ultimately I disagree. If people completely buy into what I’m saying word for word, then those people are stupid. The fact that I’m not on Eminem’s dick should be the least of their problems.
