What’s poppin? I’ve been sleeping off a hangover all day. Whoever said marijuana has no medicinal value is a bold faced liar. To much ill shit came out for me not to toss up a dose today. I probably should be posting over the weekends anyway to keep up with the competition. Whatever, my job is listening to rap music, so I don’t think it’s that bad to work on weekends. It’s not like I wouldn’t be doing it anyway.

-All these Jeezy tracks are off of The Recession. I touched on this in another post, but I don’t think I’ve met anyone who listens to rap and doesn’t like Jeezy. The rap world is chock full of haters, but it seems like there are minimal Jeezy haters. That is quite an accomplishment in this day and age.

-This Game track was supposed to be on LAX, but apparently Game didn’t like the hook so it didn’t make the cut. I think it’s pretty good. Better then that “Camera Phone” track with Ne-Yo that did make the cut. Maybe he just recorded that track with Akon before everyone found out he is a poser who lied about doing jail time.

-Why does Ace Hood have a career? I have to be a hater. I love the southern shit, but Ace just isn’t good and it’s simply Khaled flexing his muscles within the radio and MTV world. He’s forcing it, and everyone is catching on. I foresee the downfall of Khaled in the near future. He’s simply played out and unnecessary. Plus the southern unity is showing some serious cracks in the foundation. Especially with Plies and Rick Ross joining Akon as being complete posers, who pretend to be ganster. The key to being successful in hip-hop is just to be honest with who you are. I don’t care that Rick Ross used to be a C.O. or that Plies real name is Algernod and he has a degree from the University of South Florida, but they just try to pretend to be something they’re not. That’s what pisses me off. I still listen to their shit, but nothing they say can actually be taken seriously.

-Off all the big tracks I got here, my favorite track is this Prodigy joint. I’m a pretty big P fan, and this has a nice little 80’s vibe.

-Styles P is simply the fucking truth. He is one of the few rappers out there who continues to get better as his career advances. Most rappers lose their griminess and edge as their careers progress.

-Uncle Murder is much like Ace Hood in that I don’t really understand why he has a career, but I do like this track he has with Akon.

-Hit up the featured audio section to scope other tracks that came out. Feel free to hit me up with a track or two at featuredaudio@crackspace.net. Just put the artist(s) name, and the name of the track in the title, and any additional info in the body of the email. Need it in an mp3 format.
