What up what up. Shit has been pretty slow today, but it gives me some time to relax, collect myself, and really listen to some music. Plus I was just playing a little catch up from yesterday. It’s not as easy as it sounds to listen to 37 tracks, which is how many we got up in the audio section yesterday. You know the routine. Check out the featured audio section for other tracks that came out, and feel free to hit me with tracks at featuredaudio@crackspace.net. Some of you guys are hitting me up demanding that I throw you in the dose. That’s not how things work. You consistently send it good shit, and then I will write about you. See below for examples.

-More Jeezy. I kinda feel bad. I’ve given away the majority of his album already. You should really go cop the thing. I usually have no problem fucking over rappers, but Jeezy has a special place in my heart. You know that sell coke, pop bottles, and fuck bitches section of the heart? We all have it.

-Blues is an artist my boy Mike has been working with. Yes, he is the same Mike that has been doing my job lately. You can scope his ihiphop page here. Any way Blues is outta Mattapan which is pretty much a borough of Boston. He’s pretty fucking ill, and from the amount of listens he’s been getting considering his lack of exposure it appears as if you guys agree with me. Not only can Blues spit but he has a distinctive sound and delivery to differentiate himself from everyone else. Supposedly he’s got more shit up his sleeve coming for us in the near future.

-More underground goodness with a pretty nice track from The King Of New Haven a.k.a. Phil Blount. All Phil wrote in his email to me on this track was “All Flow……… This Joint Might Be On My Next Album !”. So there it is, directly from the mouth of the beast. Be sure to scope Phil’s ihiphop page here.

-Crooked I came out with a track about selling weed. Rappers always rap about selling coke so it was a nice change of drug scenery. I love people who sell weed, and as far as I’m concerned there aren’t enough of them. All I know is that my Representative, Barney Frank, is proposing a bill to Congress that would decriminalize having less then two ounces of weed from a felony to a misdemeanor on a Federal level. Pretty much all you would get is a ticket for having less then two zips of greenery. Sounds good to me. It definitely won’t pass with all the old, southern and crazy conservative Republicans who hate having fun still in office, but at least someone is proposing the idea to Congress. I hope Obama is taking note of the changes us young people really want. I’m tired of being a criminal.

-What do you guys think of Charles Hamilton? I still haven’t taken a concrete stance. I said the other day I thought he was a genius, but I was just overcome with the awesomeness of the Mr Rogers sample on “N Word’. I’m still not sure if I like him or not.
