Just as I thought NYC was getting reasonable, and Mother Nature had to go and get hot and sticky on me again.  I don’t really mind the heat, as much as the humidity which is unnecessary.  Well enough of being the weatherman (even though I’ll make it rain on you bitches…well not really).  Well let’s get into the music.  I keep thinking of that South Park episode where all the hippies come to South Park.  “More tunes bro, More tuuuunes”.  Well here are some tunes.  All aspiring hip-hoppers can hit me up with a track or two in an mp3 format at featuredaudio@crackspace.net.  Hook me up with a link to your ihiphop page if you have one, so that if I put it up I can link people to your page.

-This Cassidy track is pretty ill as I noted in the audio section itself.  He is just spittin about the game.  The whole premise to rap about how whack the industry is, and how (insert rapper) is the truth is a little played out, but I’ll make an exception for Cass.

-The Young Buck and Sha Stimuli tracks are off of Mr. X’s mixtape which is pretty ill, and you can cop it here as well as preview some tracks.  We all know the deal with Young Buck, but Sha is really nice and you should get familiar.  Him and Skyzoo have really been growing on me as of late.  Sha is just on some gritty & lyrical New York shit.  Plus he “Don’t gotta pop a bottle to get em (hoes) horizontal” which is always nice.  I’m going to link you to a mixtape from Sha I threw up in late July here.

-More fire from Mikkey Halsted.  I can’t tell if the dude is severely slept on or if I just think he is better then he really is.  Dude is outta Chi-Town, and I think he is pretty ill, but you can judge for yourself.  This joint is produced by No-I.D., and I’m not going to pretend to act like I really know who he is, but I feel like I keep seeing that name around.

-Big Law hit me up with this track, and besides it being a good track I’ve decided Shawnna is one of the few female rappers worth gracing my ears with her music.  She has this song “Ballers” with Gucci Mane that is pretty phenomenal.

-I know this Kay Slay track has tons of big names on it, but it’s pretty bad.  Plus of all the rappers on this track I wouldn’t be surprised if Pap is the only one that wrote his own rhymes.  Or maybe everyone did write their rhymes, and that’s why the song sucks.
