What up what up.  It’s hump day.  For those of you that missed my dose yesterday K-Saalam and Scram Jones are spinning tonight in the LES for those of you who are on some New York shit.  It’s at this joint called Sutra which is on first and first.  Ironically I drink at the bar next to it all the time, but tonight will be the first time I’ve rolled into the joint.  The red-tinted windows have always intimidated me for some reason.  The thing is you gotta be on the list to get it.  In order for that to happen you have to email K-Saalam at ksalaam.123@gmail.com.  Even though I told you guys yesterday, I feel like I should have started promoting this shit on Monday.  Either way if you don’t make it tonight I’m pretty sure this is the first party of a weekly party so there will be plenty of good times to be had in the near future.  Like is stated yesterday I encourage all pretty girls with little to no morals to attend.  All aspiring hip-hoppers can hit me with one or two tracks in mp3 format at featuredaudio@crackspace.net.  You know the deal, only original beats, and no whackness.

-First off for all you r&b heads I’m doing separate series for that shit called “R&B Jumpoffs”.  So if you want your r&b downloads you are going to have to go here.  My plan for that series is to not really talk about the music as much as make gravely inappropriate sexual references.  The great thing about the internet is that you can say whatever the fuck.

-I don’t really like Flo-Rida.  I think he serves a purpose for providing club type tracks, but the dude isn’t the most lyrical of rappers.  That being said this “Ms. Hangover” joint is pretty catchy.

-I’m officially co-signing B.o.B. as being dope.  He is giving southern rap a good name again.  The south gets a bad rap sometimes.   I know a lot of retarded music comes from the dirty, but so does a lot of ill stuff.  I just don’t like the pre-conception that just because you have a southern drawl you can’t be lyrical.  Completely false.  T.I., Jeezy, Outkast, and UGK are just couple of perfect examples.  Back to this track.  The message is pretty much don’t buy into gimmicks, which I hope you young fucks are listening to.  Ultimately it’s the dude that does things different, and stands up for what he believes in that ends up being the coolest.  You want to know how to make it in this game?  By sounding like no one else.

-Anyone else becoming a pretty big Sandman stan these days?  Dude is pretty bonkers.
