What up what up.  My weekend was a little boring and normal, but I hope some of you guys managed to have a good time.  We got a bunch of music from over the weekend for you so let’s jump into it.  All aspiring hip-hoppers can feel free to hit me with their tracks at featuredaudio@ihiphop.com.  I finally upgraded the email from crackspace to ihiphop.  Just send one track in mp3 format and don’t be whack.  I repeat, don’t be whack.  Let’s do this.

-Sam Scarfo is pretty good.  I know he made his name in the battle scene which I don’t really fuck with, but Sam has been consistent with the quality of music he has been making so I figured that I should give him some props.  He is signed over at Def Jam, but I highly doubt that they will drop a record from the dude.

-I’ve been known to write about how dope B.o.B. is, an allow me to continue that trend.  You should actually listen to the lyrics in this one.  I know half you fucks just bump your head to the beat, and don’t really pay attention to the lyrics, but you may want to do that on this one.  The message is for people to stop being faggoty ass posers, and actually stand for something and represent something.  Stop copying what’s “cool” and just do you.  That’s my message of the day for the kids out there.

-I have now heard two dope tracks from Wordsmith.  The other one is called “Breakfast At The Brightside Diner” which you can cop hereSkyzoo is on the joint from today which isn’t a bad feature at all.  Wordsmith is from Baltimore, and is just hustling independently like most good rappers these days.

-This Prodigy joint is off of what appears to be a dope album in Product Of The 80′s.  I’ll let Cinematic tell you why this album is going to be sick.  Just go here and he’ll tell you why.

-So this Saigon joint is off of a 6 song EP being put together by Peter Rosenberg (who is fucking hilarious) and it’s being entirely produced by his boy Oddisee.  All I know that is I co-sign Saigon & Peter Rosenberg, and judging from the one track I’ve heard from Oddisee, I might be co-signing him as well.  This track is dope with an appearance from the boy Lil Fame (M.O.P.).  Who said hip-hop was dead?

-I feel bad for Stat Quo.  He is never going to get the chance he deserved.  How is a dude signed to two of the most powerful people in hip-hop so slept on.  God forbid someone from the south spits some mad lyrical shit.

-Both of these Freeway joints are pretty sick.

-Big ShugDJ Premier ?  Boston stand the fuck up.
