What’s good people? The weather is really shitty in NYC. It’s kind of weird how much weather can affect my mood. I think it has been scientifically proven that weather can have a direct correspondence to mood, but I was never one for science class. I gotta go hit up Donny Goines B.A.R.S. Live tonight at the Knitting Factory for those of you in the NYC area. It’s going to be underground NYC hip-hop central. Donny, Mickey Factz, Skyzoo, N.Y.Oil., Torae, Sha Stimuli, Esso, A. Pinks, Dame Grease, & K-Salaam are all going to be there just to name a few. For all those other underground artists, feel free to him me with your music in mp3 format at featuredaudio@ihiphop.com.
-This Vic Damone track is pretty hard body. I met him really briefly when he performed at the Cory Gunz show last Thursday. I might have got to chop it up with him more if security didn’t kick me out for smoking a blunt AT A FUCKIN RAP SHOW. I’m still pretty furious about that because I didn’t get to see Cory and Curren$y perform, which is pretty much why I was there.
-Speaking of Curren$y, he dropped a hot track today. This is supposedly off his next mixtape which of course will be called, This Is Not A Mixtape. I also got to meet Curren$y, and it was an interesting conversation. He is just really on some chill shit. I guess living in New York has fucked with my head, because I felt like the dude was talking in slow motion.
-Sha Stimuli and Skyzoo are dope. Have we not already established this?
-Say word to some new Rich Boy. I haven’t heard anything from him in a minute. This track is dope. Kind of reminds me of “A Millie”, but whatever.
