Talk about photo-bombing…

Anyway, looks like Nas is making good on not having a feature on Raekwon’s Only Built 4 Cuban Linx 2. The Queensbridge rapper will have a record with the chef on Rae’s Wu-Tang VS Shaolin according to XXL. I’ll try to hold optimism until I hear the final product but my better judgment says screw it. This track ought to be something to at least keep an eye on. Let’s just say, going by a certain previous collaboration, they might cook up something special. Here’s Rae’s explanation for how the two decided to work together.

“I [saw] Nas across seas, we had a show together, and we talked about a lot of things…We went from A-Z how we felt about things what was goin on at the time, and by the grace of God we was able to get this thing happenin’ again.  That was definitely one of the surprise things that I wanted to alert the fans with, just to let em know that my brother came up to air for me and I know through his busy schedule I guess in the back of his mind he was like ‘Yo I gotta come up for Rae.’ ” Source: XXL

Wu-Tang VS Shaolin hits stores March 8th. Here’s hoping it’s as good if not better than OB4CL2. Then again, if “Butter Knives” serves as any indication, we may be in for another Wu-masterpiece. Now here’s the LP’s “tracklist” via RR i.e. unordered selection of songs going by Rae’s word.
