      Hiphopcrack.com has learned that 81-year old jazz veteran B.B. King (aka Riley B. King) was hospitalized at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, TX. King’s sudden hospitalization led to the cancellation of a Grand Opera House performance previously slated for Thursday night.

      A nurse administrator revealed that the legendary singer was not in the intensive care unit and could be released on Friday or Saturday.

      B.B. King was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom last December for his musical accomplishments.
