Bobby Brown Arrested…Again

      Bobby Brown, R&B singer and estranged husband of Whitney Houston, was cuffed and jailed in Massachusetts for failing to make $19,150 in child support payments to former girlfriend Kim Ward.

      Brown was served a warrant for skipping a child support hearing last October. The singer owes January child support payments to Ward, the mother of his two teenage children: Bobby III and LaPrincia. According to an Atlanta attorney, where Brown currently resides, the 40-year-old singer also owes constable fees and Ward’s attorney fees.

      "We’re diligently working on getting those funds available from outside sources," said entertainment lawyer Phaedra Parks, who added that she expected Brown to remain in the Dedham county jail until at least Tuesday.

     "Although this agreement was put in place when he was Bobby Brown the star, this agreement is being enforced when he is not always able to find work," she told the AP. "He hasn’t made an album in quite some years."

      Police arrested Brown at Attleboro High School where he was watching his daughter’s cheerleading competition on Sunday. Authorities said Brown was cooperative, so they allowed him to drive to the police station after the competition.

      Brown recently divorced from Whitney Houston after 14 years of marriage. And like that attorney said, he hasn’t been musically relevant in years. So, hopefully they’ll cut him some slack.
