Lil Boosie was indicted today in what prosecutors are calling the murder-for-hire of a local man in October.  He has been in prison since November, a month after the incident occured.  A count of first-degree murder was dropped on him in the Oct. 21 shooting death of 35-year-old Terry Boyd.

He was also indicted on separate charges along with his girlfriend, a former guard and inmate that allege they conspired to bring codeine, marijuana pills and synthetic marijuana into the prison.

East Baton Rouge Parish District Attorney Hillar Moore III said investigators are looking into whether Badazz and others were involved in at least five other slayings since early last year.

I really don’t think he’ll be coming home anytime soon, but we will keep the faith.
