While C-Murder is still waiting for his re-trial for murder to begin, the rapper is working feverishly on a variety of projects. He’s not only working on his new album and his TRU Records’ artists, he’s made a DVD called “The Movement” so fans can see how the rapper is handling business nowadays.

"I’ve been gone for a minute, and a lot of fans are missing me," C-Murder said in a statement. "I felt I needed to give them some direction as to where my album is and how it’s coming, because a lot of people wanna know if it’s coming gutter or if I’ve changed. I just wanted to let them know that I’ve stepped my game up and I’m keeping it gutter."

In the DVD, C-Murder also introduces his roster at TRU Records, he visits a New Orleans community center and talks with kids on how to make better life decisions.
"This music is like my release therapy," he said. "I’m not gonna ever change by society’s standards – I’m always gonna be my own person, and that’s just being real and keeping it real to my music. But when I’m out in the streets and I’m shooting these DVDs where kids could pick them up, I’m gonna explain stuff that they’ll face in the future. I like to give it to them raw and let them make their decision in the end, but at the same time when it comes to my music that’s me. That’s 100% entertainment and that’s just the way it is. I’m not going to change that."

Look for the DVD to hit stores on December 11.
