With barely 2 months to go, 50 Cent has decided to alter his album title from Before I Self Destruct to (wait for it) CURTIS. As you probably recall, “Curtis” quickly became a hip-hop catchphrase following 50’s recent feud with Cam’ron. Oh yeah, it’s also 50’s government handle.

On a related note, 50 Cent has released an unofficial statement insisting that he had no involvement in Tony Yayo’s alleged altercation with Jimmy Rosemond’s teenage son. “I was in my home in Farmington, CT, completing songs for my new record,” 50 said.

“A word of caution to anyone attempting to link me personally to this unfortunate incident for their own selfish motivations, I will vigorously pursue all legal remedies available to me to protect my professional reputation.”

      Whatever you say, Curtis.
