This might be more exciting than her getting a new Bentley truck.

Rising artist Cardi B recently took to her IG to dispel rumors that she is an “overnight success”. Taking aim at individuals who think “Bodak Yellow” was simply a product of magic and luck, she informs them of her struggle, hustle, and what it took to get to her newfound glory. Well, it looks like she has more reason to laugh at her haters, as “Bodak Yellow” continues to make headlines.

Today, “Bodak Yellow” cracked Billboard’s Top-three list. This accomplishment by itself is incredibly impressive, but deeper context truly illuminates the extraordinary feat. It was reported by Billboard’s Gary Trust that this hit is the first 2017 unassisted top-three female track across all genres. Not Taylor Swift, not Selena Gomez, not Carrie Underwood—just Cardi B.

Life’s certainly changed a lot for the woman who used to hug stripper poles to pay the rent. As Cardi proudly proclaims on the song’s first verse, “I don’t dance now, I make money moves”. Life’s certainly changed indeed.
