jGersonCee-Lo Green stopped by The Colbert Report last night to promote his latest album, Lady Killer. Claiming that Cee-Lo couldn’t legally sing his hit “F*ck You” on the air, Stephen Colbert suggested the Gnarles Barkley member change his lyrics to “something positive like ‘Fox News.'” Although ‘Lo obliged, he later performed his single as scheduled. The prior interview was pretty comical. Colbert joked, “that song [F*ck You] just by its name is corrupting the youth…but it’s got such a bone-deep hook!” Cee-Lo said the track is not biographical, which Stephen assumed was true because no woman would ever reject him…good stuff
