The debate, sponsored by CNN, the Los Angeles Times and Politico.com, was held at Los Angeles’ Kodak Theatre.

Democrats Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama spent their last debate before next week’s Super Tuesday contests pointing out differences on Iraq, health care and the economy.  The exchange was in sharp contrast to previous debates because of the absence of political sniping, yet was one of the most substantive policy discussions yet in the race for the nomination.

The numerous actors, directors and musicians in the audience included Stevie Wonder, Pierce Brosnan, Rob Reiner, Jason Alexander, Isaiah Washington, Diane Keaton, Leonardo DiCaprio, Quentin Tarantino and Christina Applegate.
