Fresh off his performance in Smokin’ Aces and American Gangster, Common may be warming up for yet another movie role. Unconfirmed reports from multiple sources indicate that the Chi-Town MC has been tapped to play The Green Lantern in an upcoming Justice League film.
One thing is certain for now: Common has partnered with Lincoln to sell the 2008 Lincoln Navigator. The promotion is part of the company’s new marketing effort, which will feature Common in next year’s ad campaign. The first of the ads, dubbed “Common,” will make its national debut on November 25 during NFL Sunday Night Football on NBC.
