The Jet Life crew has also announced a 2019 album to be released via Babygrande Records.

Back in 2011, the lovable Curren$y founded Jet Life Recordings–a Warner Bros. Records imprint. Originally composed of Spitta himself along with Trademark Da Skydiver and Young Roddy, Jet Life enjoyed a prosperous early 2010s run off the strength of their Jet World Order series. While it’s been over six-years since their last studio album, Jet World Order 2, it seems like the New Orleans-born label is keen on resurrecting their once strong presence.

Today, January 10th, the label’s original trio–Curren$y, Trademark, and Young Roddy–has linked up for their new track, “Plan of Attack”. Their first official collaboration in nearly five-years, “Plan of Attack” is more than an infectious song peppered with nostalgia; it’s a moment, a proclamation to reassert themselves as a unit in the crowded hip-hop landscape–it’s their master plan.

Produced by 206derek, with co-production from B-Eazy the DJ and SethFromAbove, “Plan of Attack” is only the catalyst of the Jet Life reunion–far from the punctuation. Sometime this year, the NOLA trio will release a new collaborative album effort, which has already been fully recorded, and is scheduled to drop via Babygrande Records sometime in 2019.
