Despite earlier reports that Curren$y’s first release on Warner Bros would be his collaborative EP with The Alchemist, it appears that the New Orleans rapper plans on releasing Covert Coup for free.  It was announced during a recent Ustream session that the EP from the incessantly high duo will drop free of charge on 4/20.  According to Spitta, he’s gearing up for some sort of cross-promotional work with Diamond Supply for Covert Coup.  You can peep the cover below.

There’s no said date for Curren$y’s final project on former label, Blue Roc.  Spitta has recently confirmed that said release, Muscle Car Chronicles, will be accompanied by a short film.
