Industry insiders are dishing that the lack of public interest in 50 Cent’s third album, Curtis, was a key factor in Interscope’s decision to postpone the album.

50 releases two singles: “Amusement Park” and “Straight to the Bank.” Despite the big budget music videos for both songs, they failed to connect with his audience. This, according to spywitnesses, was the decisive factor in the album’s pushback from June 26 to September 4.

The G-Unit General is rumored to be frustrated about the situation and is “attempting to salvage the situation.”
