      Late last year, Def Jux Records announced its partnership with mtvU to search for the best unsigned emcees, producers and bands to sign to its label and release an EP and record a song with Mr. Lif. For two months college kids around the world voted for their favorite unsigned college act on BestMusicOnCampus.com and Danny Swain also known as Danny!, had the most votes.

      Swain, hailing from the Savannah College of Art & Design, will now join up with the Def Jux heads and record an EP for release as well as collaboration with Mr. Lif.
