Detox actually Coming??

After six years of unbelievable speculation, Dr. Dre might actually be releasing Detox. Dr. Dre has made two solo albums, The Chronic and 2001, and after announcing his latest album in 2002, the project may finally see the light of day later this year. The Doctor told USA Today, “I’m just now — over the last couple of months — starting to feel that it’s going to be right and it’s something I can be proud of, and everybody is going to love it. In a perfect world, I’m shooting for a November or December release.” Whether or not the current situation over at Interscope will allow Dre to do so is still unknown, but hip-hop fans are anxiously waiting. Dre also mentioned past collaborators like Jay-Z, Nas and Lil’ Wayne will make the album, alongside assumed features from cohorts Eminem and 50 Cent. We’ve certainly waited for long enough, and with all the expectations for Detox, it’s doubtful Dre could afford to drop anything less than spectacular.
