Diddy is in stormy waters again. The Bad Boy head honcho has been ordered to pay as much as $500,000 for sampling an Ohio Players song on Notorious B.I.G.’s
Earlier in 2006, a jury awarded $733,878 in damages to the publishing company Bridgeport Music Inc.
This is the latest among the litany of lawsuits that have docked Diddy. Previously, the rap mogul was hit with $5 million lawsuit by a man who says he was jumped by his bodyguards at a Manhattan nightclub last June. Then came the $19 million lawsuit from one James Sabastino, who claimed that Diddy owes him for audio and video footage of the late great Biggie Smalls.
