      It’s been a few years since DJ Premier announced the launch of his label, Year Round Records. There have been singles here, mixtape cuts there, but never album from the label until now. Primo and Year Round have announced that the debut album from the NYG’z, “Welcome to G-Dom”, is set to drop on September 12.

      “NYG’z is bringin’ the definition of a duo back to the front line of Hip-Hop,” Primo said. “Not only is it street, but they represent the true meaning of what it is to make a real album.  Be on the lookout for NYG’z street album, Welcome To G-Dom, and my first all DJ Premier produced LP with the NYG’z, “Pros & Cons”, you heard the first Jeru The Damaja LP and the Group Home LP; need I say more?”

      The album, “Welcome to G-Dom”, features production from not only Primo, but Emile, Thorotracks, Books, Harlem Fatz and Biggest Gord along with appearances from M.O.P., Royal Flush, Blaq Poet, Guru and others. Here’s the tracklisting:
