Authorities who are investigating abuse and neglect allegations at DMX’s home in Phoenix, Arizona dug up carcasses of dead dogs and found disturbing evidence. Although cause of death is unknown, authorities found serious bite wounds on one of the dog carcasses, with serious trauma to the abdomen of another body. Another dog was burnt so badly that an exam was inconclusive.

Last month, DMX’s home was raided after a neighbor complained of the treatment of the dogs at the home. They seized 12 live pit bulls, numerous weapons, and about a quarter-ounce of marijuana in a bedroom. DMX’s lawyer said that the rapper hadn’t been there in months and was paying a caretaker and vets to take care of his property and his dogs.

"How do you attribute activities to a person who has not been there, when they have knowledge that other persons have been," X’x lawyer, Murray Richman told the Associated Press. "Is it because of the celebrity nature?"
