It’s been nearly two years since Drake last acted in any capacity as the handicapped high school student, Jimmy, on Degrassi: The Next Generation. Now it appears that Young Money artist will appear in a more prominent role, acting beside Al Pacino in the financial thriller, Arbitrage.
The film, which is written and directed by Nicholas Jarecki (Tyson), is about a hedge fund mogul who finds himself in over his head after making illegal investments and tries to rid fraud allegations by selling his company to a major bank. Yet before the deal goes through, he makes a “bloody error,” forcing him to turn to the most unlikely sources for help.
TheWrap reports, “Susan Sarandon and Eva Green (‘Casino Royale’) are set to play the character’s wife and art dealer mistress, respectively.” Arbitrage is set to begin filming this March in New York.
