Will he respond to Push?

Whether he’s being celebrated for donating $1MM to strangers, or being chastised for allegedly dodging parental responsibilities, hip-hop orbits Drake and his announcements. For better or worse, the culture and music pulse to the rhythm of Aubrey Graham. After generating intense interest and conversation surrounding his forthcoming album release, Scorpion, originally teased in mid-April through an Instagram post, Drake has come full-circle, as he’s now given us the final album details–again, through Instagram.

Posted hours ago, Drizzy’s latest IG post is a black-and-white picture of himself pensively gazing into the distance, with a sharpie-written “SCORPION 2018” and accompanying signature sitting in the lower right-hand corner. While this is gravitating news in of itself, the unveiled cover art is a footnote compared to the caption written below it: JUNE 29 2018. In just over two-weeks, we will hear the new Drake album.

The project’s contents can only be speculated, however given the media circus surrounding him lately, thanks to Pusha T, fans’ are curious to hear if Drake will clap back at the man who brutally slandered his name, which song will be the summer anthem, and much more.

Multiple narratives are converging ahead of this release, making it one of Drake’s most anticipated albums in recent memory. On June 29th, we will have all the answers.
