Usually when your album keeps getting pushed back its not a good sign, I mean Drake is a sure thing, right? Hes the Young Money running back isn’t he? So whats the problem?!? Unfortunately Thank Me Later, which was scheduled for a May 25 release, has been pushed back to a mid June release.

Although fans may have to wait a few more weeks, Drake promises them that he has a plan up his sleeve for those who are waiting. While on tour Drake has promised that he will perform the next single off of the album entitled “Fireworks.”

Although Drake has only released one track off of Thank Me Later, “Over”, which is burning up airwaves (because the label is paying the stations to keep it rotation), the album has had a few tracks leaked. The most recent confirmed track is the debut slow-jam collaboration between Drake and The-Dream entitled, “Shut it Down.”

Despite the unfinished track being leaked, Drake insists that the finished version will still appear on the album. What do you think? Usually summer albums have summer bangers and if you don’t have one its bad news, do you think he can pull Wayne numbers?

Comments

  1. Stop giving this cornball so much publicity. When his album drops then you can talk about it. You should be promoting and talking about dope albums by artists that are really working hard like ILLUS, FRDDIE FOXXX, GIFT of GAB, BROTHER ALI. All these dudes have hot material in the streets now and could use some press.
