The word is that Jim Jones has left Columbia Records. Capo has decided to return home to E1 formerly known as Koch Records where he was appointed vice president of Urban A&R. Jim is scheduled to release his next project on the label spring 2010. According to label president Alan Grunblatt in a XXL interview “Jim Jones put Koch on the map, he truly knows what it takes to make a hit record. I am thrilled to be working with him for many years to come.“
