His ninth studio album.

Last night, Eminem elated fans with a preview to his new track, “Venom”, off the forthcoming Venom movie soundtrack. Taking that surprise one-step–well, more like 10-leaps–further, Em dropped a surprise album at midnight last night, which includes the earlier teased “Venom”.

Em’s ninth studio album, Kamikaze, is a 13-track album executively produced by Slim himself and his mentor, Dr. Dre. The follow-up to his questionable 2017 Revival, Kamikaze aims to recapture the glory that shined so brightly on his earlier, acclaimed releases. With features from Lucas Joyner, Jessie Reyez, and Royce Da 5’9”, Kamikaze is armed with a lyrical force whose skill and competitive drive strives to elicit each other’s best work.

With artwork inspired by The Beastie Boys’ 1986 album cover for Licensed To Ill, Kamikaze is doused in hip-hop credibility and will hopefully restore Em’s former shine.
