All you beatsmiths looking for a break, Eminem is giving you a chance. The rapper, along with his radio station Shade 45 on Sirius, have announced a remix contest allowing producers to remix “Jimmy Crack Corn” by Ca$his and Eminem from The Re-Up compilation album. All you have to do is visit Shade 45’s website (SIRUS), download the acapella to “Jimmy Crack Corn”, construct a beat for it and send it in to Shade 45.

The rules? No samples are allowed and all beats must be your own. They will be choosing five finalists who will win a Shady Limited clothing prize pack with the grand prize winner winning a limited edition The Re-Up plaque signed by Eminem and a trip to the Sirius studios in New York. The winner’s remix will also stay in rotation on Shade 45 for three weeks. You have until March 7 to submit your beats, so get busy!
