Wondering where all the female rappers are lately? Well, one of them recently quit her day job to make a comeback to the rap game. We’re talking about Eve Jihan Jeffers. Even though her titular UPN series won’t be making a comeback after three seasons, the 27-year old Philly rapper/actress recently disclosed that she’s now working on her new release. Here I Am, Eve’s first album in four years, is expected to feature production from Dr. Dre, Timbaland, Neo—not the R&B singer, Cool ‘N’ Dre, and of course, Swizz Beatz. Here I Am is due out early next year on Full Surface/Aftermath. But, the Swizz Beatz-laced "Tambourine," rumored to be the lead single, is expected to drop sometime this fall.
