Dex Meets Dexter drops this Friday, April 6th.
Famous Dex has cultivated a deep fanbase off the strength of his fun, easily digestible rhymes. Building a strong online following and presence, Dex eventually signed to Rich The Kid’s Rich Forever label, a co-venture with 300 Entertainment. Now, his fans will finally receive his official debut album, Dex Meets Dexter, on April 6th. Today, he announced the artwork and tracklist.
Known for his unique flair and personality, Dex is a lovable character who’s extremely self-aware. In a summer 2017 interview, he said, “If you want to be entertained and all that, this new music, listen to me.” He juxtaposed this statement with, “I swear to God on my mother, if you want to listen to rap and hip-hop, listen to Kendrick Lamar, listen to Rick Ross, JAY-Z.” With one the album’s hit single, “Pick It Up” featuring A$AP Rocky, going off the charts, I think it’s safe to say that Dex will be supplying plenty of entertaining music on Dex Meets Dexter.
